Welcome to the Lions Family Benefit Scheme! Our mission is to support lion families in the event of a member’s demise. With the dedication of Lions of the District, we're a beacon of hope for our members and their loved ones. Our scheme offers user-friendly web and mobile platforms to ensure smooth membership management and communication.
Financial Security in Times of Need
Our scheme ensures that in the event of a member's demise, their loved ones receive prompt and substantial financial assistance. Member registered are duty bound to contribute to a quarterly death benefit collection. Depending on membership type, age, standing and duration, customized compensation rates will be provided to families.
COMPENSATION PAYMENT:
Nominees receive timely financial support in the event of a member's demise.
MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAE
- Only lion members are eligible to join
- A lion member should be between the age of 18 and 65 years at the time of joining
- Completed application, along with membership deposit, annual subscription and required documents must be submitted
- With effect from April 1, 2024, a one-year lock-in period is applicable for lion members who have joined after the above-mentioned date
QUARTERLY DEATH BENEFIT COLLECTION
Members contribute every quarter to a death benefit collective fund, to ensure timely assistance for bereaved families.
CUSTOMIZED COMPENSATION RATES
Varied compensation rates are based on:
- membership type
- age of member
- membership standing
- duration of membership
NO LOCK-IN PERIOD:
The scheme offers a zero lock-in period until 31-03-2024
